Giggle I haven't. Nor would I be into a Goth world, Dragon world, or other crazy world like that. But that's just me. I don't like the Vamps, either. I like to play Sims with "real life" characters.

Having said that, it occurs to me that playing an almost completely fantasy town could be interesting.... Hmm

Nah. lol

RE: Seasons Possibilities
Webby I agree with you. Vamps ruined my game, and the worlds were a little weird to me I'd probably never play those. But Aliens/Space is something I'm really interested in for realz so that would sorta be cool to me. unless it were like vampires where everyone in town started turning into them. then i'd be p*ssed!

Same here. I played with the aliens in TS2 but I've not played a single supernatural in TS3 - I like to simulate real life! Thank You

RE: Seasons Possibilities
I haven't read the article you're talking about, and at reading all your enthusiastic comments and all the "it's too good to be true", I won't read it, because knowing EA, it is surely too good to be true!
They can't make a deep fryer that works and that isn't addictive to the point your Sims won't do anything else in life but frying stuff (I haven't the deep fryer, but read comments! :P), so let alone a super well conceived weather EP. lol
I don't want to be too disappointed, so I'll put my hopes at a low level! If we can get something that looks like weather, I'd be happy. I'd like even better if Sims could swim in ocean. Sigh

RE: Seasons Possibilities
I voted against all the fantasy elements...except for the spooky neighborhood (I'm a sucker for that in real life, but EA has yet to do a goth or spooky theme to my own liking - like I hate the way they do vampires...so I don't play with them).

I would be quite interested to see how they could pull off the swimming in the ocean, though, but wouldn't that be awesome?!! I'd also like to see the diving boards and slow dancing. I was peeved when the slow dancing was left out of Generations...I was like WTF?...you can't have a proper wedding reception without it!

Since I've taken both surveys (and this one definitely had a lot of rehash of the first one) I believe we will see some of this come to pass based on the results so far of the previous survey.

Personally I am dying to hear more about the Sims 3 Diesel Stuff Pack that Sims VIP found a listing for on a Swedish game retailer. It's supposedly slated for a July 12 release this year...I have voted twice now in these surveys for Diesel as a brand match with Sims..so I've got my fingers crossed!

RE: Seasons Possibilities
I never play with the supernaturals so probably wouldn't use the aliens themselves. But I love the IDEA of aliens! A pack with aliens might also come with some other stuff that would be useful. The career for those who study alien life forms...oooo, so cool. Even if aliens never appear, the fact that they MIGHT exist would be perfect for my world. Alien artifacts, a crash site, mysterious sitings with the telescope..those I would really like.

The only way I would play with them is if I created an alien world like Lunar Lakes.

RE: Seasons Possibilities
I'm cautiously optimistic given that most things on the survey have come to pass, yet knowing what a serious drain weather/seasons would be on the average computer.

I built my computer specifically for sims and even I'll admit I'm a bit aprehensive about it's ability to handle more than it already does with ALL the expansions and eps and waaaaaayyyyyyyyy too much cc. ;)

RE: Seasons Possibilities
I just took another survey for Sims this morning that was in my e-mail yesterday and someone has already shared screenshots of it....you can see them on Sims VIP.

The questions concerned a possible University EP, a Theme Park EP, and a different Vacation EP. :D
