Simblrs
I've been thinking about getting a Simblr, but I really don't think I need yet another social networking site to join and then forget about. lol So, for those who have Simblrs...

1) What are the benefits?
2) What are the drawbacks?
3) Do you find it more convenient than conventional blogging?
4) Do you find it easier to connect with other simmers compared to more "old-fashioned" methods (forum, commenting on blogs, etc.)?

Can't wait to hear your answers. Flirty

RE: Simblrs
I might be the only one at disliking Tumblr, so you're warned. My answers will be biased! Pardon
"Comments" on Tumblr are "xx likes", "xx reposts", and that's what I really dislike the most. I think people can post something more elaborate with the "ask me anything", but I rarely see it used. I think it's perfect to show off. Not made to open discussions, but it wasn't the purpose, anyway Dunno

RE: Simblrs
You can actually reply to posts if you want to but it's not really done much. Some people post stories over there instead of doing it on livejournal or wherever. But mostly, it's quite anti-social. lol

RE: Simblrs
i'm with sandy i'm not really all that into it because it is, in fact, more anti-social than social. it's definitely great for looking at/posting great pics and just sort of having a collection of likes lol. i also don't really like the way you have to scroll forever and it just keeps loading more posts in your dashboard. people post ALOT so i can't keep up but i force myself to scroll back to where i last left off so it's actually stressing me out lol

i'm also not as interested in sims/legacies as i am interior decorating, building, landscaping and world building. so it's also a matter of me finding more simmers posting stuff i'm interested in to follow. i'm a bit old fashioned i think and prefer forums for connecting lol

Yep, me too. The first thing I did when I got mine was enable comments in my simblr...So anyone with a tumblr/google/blogger,etc. account could comment. This being said, I don't get tons of comments. Giggle I hate that you can't say something on another person's post without having to reblog it...I mean, I want in my tumblr just the things I post. If I ever have to say anything about another tumblr, I should be able to say it there.

Too Funny

Normally I would like that, too -- in real life I am very asocial -- but when it comes to Sims, I like to gab about it with other people way too much! Nod
